Norwex sells home care products through a Consultant network. The platform behind it had not been built for the way Consultants work, which is from a phone. Changes were slow. Some changes were not possible at all. The rate at which the business could try something new was set by the software rather than by the market.
A company that cannot iterate stops proposing ideas that need iteration.
A new platform, a back office, an app
We built a new API-based platform, and a mobile-first back office on it. We also built Consultants a native app in React Native, organised around contacts, templates and orders, so they can do the job on the go.
The migration
We moved the platform, the data behind it, and the domain. Consultant records, order history, and the commercial relationships between them all had to arrive intact, because in a direct-sales business those records are what people are paid on.
Releasing daily
We rebuilt the front end as a mono-repo on Turbo and Next.js. Automated test coverage let the team release to production daily.
